Vent-A-Hood® to Debut Build-A-Hood 2.0 in 2014
Online hood design system to include full product catalog
RICHARDSON, Texas – (October 14, 2013) – Vent-A-Hood®, the company that created the modern residential range hood, has announced the creation of its Build-A-Hood 2.0 program, which will debut on the Vent-A-Hood website in early 2014. The advanced online customization and design process will also be on display at the Vent-A-Hood® booth during the Kitchen and Bath Industry show in Las Vegas, February 4-6.
With Build-A-Hood 2.0 customers will be able to visit www.ventahood.com and select and customize their own range hood from the manufacturer’s full catalog of designs.
“The Build-A-Hood program that we unveiled in late 2011 was limited to our Designer Series but still became an instant hit,” said Blake Woodall, vice president of Vent-A-Hood®. “People immediately embraced the power to go online and customize those canopies with finishes and options to suit an individual taste. It made perfect sense to raise that bar once again and apply that program to all of our range hoods.”
The design and order program will be simple to navigate, and customers will be able to select from thousands of skews.
“This program is unique in our industry and puts the client in command of the shopping experience,” Woodall added. “We’re excited to take it to the next level, increasing the range hood choices and once again redefining the Vent-A-Hood approach.”
