Key Features

ARS (Air Recovery System) Technology

Our patented ARS system makes high-performance kitchen ventilation possible in homes where traditional ducted installations aren't practical. A sophisticated four-phase purification process captures cooking vapors and removes grease, odors, smoke and fine particles before filtered air is returned to the kitchen.

Advanced Air Purification

It all starts with active cooking vapor capture. Grease is then extracted through centrifugal filtration before air passes through an activated carbon odor filter and, finally, a fine-particle filter that removes smoke, dust and debris.

Powerful Odor Control

More than a pound of active carbon pellets provides enormous surface area to capture cooking odors. Because grease is removed before air reaches the carbon, it stays cleaner and more effective than filters used in many conventional ductless hoods.

Simplifies Maintenance

Dishwasher-safe grease collection trays and accessible filtration components make routine upkeep quick and convenient.

Range hood with matching duct cover extending upward over a cooktop.

Matching Duct Covers

Conceal ductwork above the hood for a clean, finished look while extending the design seamlessly to the ceiling. Available on most wall mount and island hoods.

Outdoor Use

All Vent-A-Hood models are suitable for covered outdoor applications when installed on a GFCI-protected branch circuit. Select hoods are available in extended depths or with an optional 6" BBQ extension kit to improve capture performance.
